hmm, seems like the blogging atmosphere is quite dead these days =D
i cant seem to think of anything interesting to update
except to tell you what i did everyday, hahaha..
cos i seem to have lots of things to finish up before i leave..
saturday was 冬至
it's so weird how i seem to remember this day very clearly every year
i didn't make tang yuans this year cos i was out the whole day on friday =p
and when i reached home, they were already cooked ^^;
so no pictures this year, but just to say
that my bowl and spoon is still the same as this post and this post
LOL!
and i realised i have been blogging about 冬至 ever since i owned a blog
so this makes the 4th year i'm blogging about it
in 2004 i said that my aunt was moving and maybe our celebrations will stop
but no it didn't!
my family just got more and more happening.. i have no idea why..
after the chalet the other day (which i was absent from)
my uncle told me that they had plans for another one in january
and then from there they will plan for one every month until june
which is when i return, HAHAHHA..
but of course, he's just kidding..
not one every month, but there's one in june i think =D
and this is very rare for my family
because we seldom meet outside the usual tradition celebrations..
and i went out with BBB on saturday..
when was the last time i saw them?
i think it was during candy's send-off last year..
but only the maddies and charmaine turned up in the end
michelle and yanner looked so different now
especially yanner with her hongkong-ish dressing and hairstyle
michelle was sick and yet she came
but it feels so weird not to hear her talking all the time =D
went to service my phone because the music player is giving me problems
then we proceeded to food republic for lunch
and then wander around orchard until they went for the movies
i went off to buy one more formal shirt
and because it is the last day for my train concession
i had to make full use of it, went to chinatown to buy more cloth =)
i think i am addicted to making things now ^^
went to my uncle's home for 冬至 dinner~
had the tang yuan that my aunt cooked..
it comes in many many colours
and i totally cannot stand the one in chocolate flavour..
i hate chocolate =/
slacked at home on sunday
i need my letter of offer for GIP to apply for insurance
but i couldn't find it anywhere
i have things like my A levels exam timetable and my NTU application form
but yet i cant find this letter given to me in september
so in the end, i gave up and submitted another letter for the person..
watched Music Station Super Live with super alot of johnny's
and i am too lazy to fangirl about it XD
monday was super busy for me, hahaa..
i wrote down a list of places i need to go before i left my house
went to buy zips and felt cloth first
stopped by the bank cos i need to transfer money to my brother
withdraw money to deposit in my POSB account
and to withdraw money so that i can exchange RMB
but i was told that i have insufficient funds in my bank
because my cheque have not cleared yet..
omg, to think how much money i have spent for this GIP trip
i wanted to make a post of the list of things i bought
but i am lazy, next time bah, hahaha..
and then i wanted to go to NSC to collect my medicine
but when i reached the pharmacy, they were already closed
and the staff were having a christmas party (><) wasted trip..
so i went to orchard to collect my phone
the nokia service centre was packed lor
waited for an hour to get my phone..
then i rushed down to the bank in orchard to get my money
and then went to Art Friend to get some cardboard and stuff
next to metro for shopping..
and i left orchard before 630pm in fear of the crowd, haha..
went back to ang mo kio for a haircut
the person said cut layer for me but i feel that my hair has no layer at all now
and it is damn ugly, it is flat when it is let down =/
my brother helped me bought an external hard drive from sim lim
and it is super super pretty!
hahaha, actually is i asked him to help me buy this model de
it's the WD Passport if your are interested..
so now i can put alot alot of things in it and bring to china ^^
i was trying to fix up my massu poster to put on the wall
but i realise it cannot fit into the A1 size cover i bought!
this is crazy, it's the largest cover i can find in Art Friend liao..
so in the end, i ended up using it for the NEWS HwM poster
which is abit small for the cover instead (><)
yeah! NEWS poster =D
and it is the first christmas eve that i am spending at home since 1999!
i think so..
cos every year on this day, i will be out with my primary school friends
but this year ling is away on holiday so we had to postpone it ^^
and so this is also the first christmas day that i am not sleeping away XD
my sis' friend came over to bake cake and cookies
and we all realised that gingerbread man really got ginger taste (><)
wanted to finish up the handphone pouch for my sis
and the purse for my mum so that i can start on my comforter
no time no time!
but my mum didn't want to turn on the sewing machine for me
so in the end, i went back to making my shoes, haha..
my fingers are painful de lor..
but i am still hooked on this sewing thing =D
i can sew when i am watching dramas so i won't feel like i am wasting time
hahhaa.. and this is my achievement for the day~
i hope to finish up my shoes by sunday so i can wear it out
with liyi and her DIY shoes =D
arh, 4am now..
going off to sleep.. byeeee..
