my internet is finally up =D
actually it was up yesterday already but i was lazy to blog ^^
settled down into the house and my housemates are very fun pple =)
my house is quite pretty~
i think it's prettier than my own place, hhahahaha
i think i will miss the house and the freedom here when i go back
on wednesday, we went to buy some necessities for the house
like bedsheets, pillows, blankets and cleaning stuff to clean up the house
the fridge, cupboards and oven were terrible man (><)
spent some time cleaning up and we went off to have dinner
it is super dark here after 6pm, we all thought it was 8 alr =D
had steamboat on the first day! WAHAHAHA
是爽的咯~
but the fishball here tastes super weird, like uncooked fishball
and there is 午餐肉! finally~
in the end, we ordered too much food and cannot finish..
there were like 2 plates of meat untouched and alot of fishballs left
even so, it's lesser than SGD10 per person
had 小笼包 and 蒸饺 for breakfast on thursday morning..
no appetite and cannot eat much but the 蒸饺 is good!
and its only RMB5 for one whole plate =)
after breakfast, we went to explore around beijing city
went to tian an men to take a look but we didn't go in
the weather for the first few days when we reached was super good
the sky is blue cos there's strong wind..

then we walked over to wang fu jing which is a tourist shopping area
the vendors there are super fierce
if you cut price le but you don't buy the thing, they will scold F words =D
near wang fu jing, there is this stretch of food stalls, like night market
and there's really interesting food
they have scorpions, starfish, seahorse and sea urchins..
there's also this 小笼包 thing lookalike, enlarged version
and you are supposed to sip the soup from inside with a straw..
there's also a carrot cake lookalike thingy but without egg~
the picture on the left is fried ice cream
it's like a layer of egg wrapped around the ice cream with sugar on top
eating that on the street is madness man, cold like siao..
and the one on the right is the 小笼包 thing lookalike..
on our way home, we ate 永和大王
it's something similar to the one in taiwan, sells you tiao and dou jiang
don't know if they are related or not..
but the beef rice that i ate tastes like yoshinoya..
tried to watch the RMB5 dvd that we bought
but in the end, ended up watching die hard 4.0
and the first one to fall asleep will have to wash the toilet XD
on friday, we spent the whole day trying to find a bank
to take out money and do transfer for our rent
in the end, we only settled everything at ard 4 plus
and i had to go meet my boss for a dinner..
the dinner was shiok leh, but i didn't dare to take any pictures
so your can just imagine the 丰盛的晚餐 that i had =)
abit worried about my jobscope cos i really know nuts about finance stuff
anyway, i have a really irritating colleague, ask alice (><)
after dinner, went back to meet my house to meet my housemates
and six-days-a-week jasmine! =D
played circle of death and finished up one whole bucket of water XDmy housemates and jasmine and her housemates =)
finally i have better appetite on saturday..
had beef noodles for breakfast =)
super nice! i think it tastes better than fei cui one~
went to buy a router after that
because there's 7 of us who wants to use internet at the same time
went in search of carrefour after that
there's even breadtalk in the mall =)
i want to buy my evaporated milk so that i can make teh si
but i am so sad that no one knows what is evaporated milk here...
they don't know what they are missing man XD
in the end i only managed to find condensed milk..
and we bought singapore curry too, hahaha..
those packet kind to cook...
might be cooking them later..
depends on whether we go and buy pots, hahaha
everyone is nua-ing now cos there is internet, lol
nobody wants to go out now XD
went to xiu shui jie at night in search of cheap goods, hahah..
but in the end, we didn't buy anything
just looked around..
came back and bought even more dvds
hahaha, it's crazy lor, there's people selling them everywhere ^^;supper from roadside stalls =D
yup, more updates to come ^^
starting work tomorrow le.. sian~~~
oh ya, sometimes i cant see my tagboard cos it doesn't load
so, ya.. hahahhaa..
ja ne ^^
