work is really bad, it makes everyone lose the holiday mood =p
hahaa, i feel so bored this two days
cos i'm always alone at home..
my company's new office is not done yet
so there's no space for us to sit
and the supervisor gave us take-home assignment to do..
i wanted to die when i heard it larh (><)
we have to do a report AND presentation on the banking system in singapore,
the types of products they offer, the design process of products
and also we have to give a report AND presentation
on our views of the future development of the financial sector..
it's quite broad, and he said it's up to us what we want to do
he asked us to set a deadline and we said friday =p
in the end, i think this is almost mission impossible
the stuff is more than what we usually do for a sem's project lor..
and i am very confused now by all the chinese terms (><)
even though i seem slack staying at home everyday
i rather go to work and have no take-home assignment =/anyway, a shot of my office building =D
it's very convienient from my house to the workplace
i can take one bus directly there, and it costs only RMB 40cents XD
actually i can walk there too, takes about one hour, HAHAHA..
on monday, we cooked the singapore curry chicken for dinner
the wrapper says singapore chicken curry =D
and then i think nobody wants to cook dinner anymore =p
cos everyone reaches home at around 7
cook dinner, eat, den still must clean up the place..
the night is already too short XDtah-dah, the curry chicken ^^
it's nice, not bad for the first try =)
on tuesday, i travelled to my irritating colleague's place to discuss work
*i hope he never reads my blog, if not i will die =p*
in the end, we explored this shopping mall with his housemate, janus
who happens to be alice's friend XD
the mall is set up by capitaland, and there's a lot of singapore shops in there
we ate lunch at food republic in the mall
AND I SAW EVAPORATED MILK AT THE DRINKS STALL!
oh man, but i think that's the only place in china i'll ever see it
cos all the supermarts i've been to does not have it (><)i happily ordered milk tea, thinking she will use the evaporated milk
but no, she used the milk tea powder, which makes NOT-nice milk tea..
bah! i miss teh si siew dai!!!!!!
i think staying here for just one week made me learn to appreciate lots of things
the bus, the mrt, the transport system in singapore
the courtesy of the people in public (seriously..)
the availability of teh si in singapore
the breakfast which is always on the table when i wake up every morning
the clothes which are always washed and put back into place
the fast internet speed and websites that we can visit
not having to remember to take gloves and coat everytime u go out
and being able to wear shorts and birks out on the streets
i miss singapore~
