i'm so sorry for the lack of activity around here :p
didn't realise i was so lazy to blog during this december hols
i wanted to enjoy this last official school holiday of my life
but fyp just won't let me off.
nonetheless, i still had lots and lots of gatherings and squandered the monies
i met everyone i wanted to meet and i had enough rest.
results turned out okay but below expectations, like duh.
just a rough summary of my december
since its the last day of the year, i thought i shouldn't drag it anymore :D
Dec 8 was supposed to be a discussion for our grad trip
but that's old news now, we are not even going to aussie already xD
and so it was a day of lau pat sat, closed timbre, yello jello and macs
with the BBS (:
on 8th december was supposed to be my 2 years anniversary in JE
i wanted to post an entry one but...
ya, i wanted to :X
hahaha.
Bolt with bishan and yanni on 13th dec (:
its becoming a tradition to watch movie and eat dinner with them, haha.
and must be animation somemore.
manhattan fish market with ck who don't watch cartoon.
i love the seafood platter! keep digging the butter rice
much better than fish n co, hoho (:
and so after talking about spring cleaning with jasmine and mr neo
i was inspired to clean out my shelf :D
succeeded in throwing away one bag of rubbish, one bag of paper bags
and donated one bag of paper bags to the storeroom!
didn't know i had so many paper bags.
alot more things to get rid of!
but still, alot of things i continued to keep :D
my box of capsule balls.
if you ask me why i keep them... i don't really know also, haha.
my set of crayola colour pencil, crayon and stuff!
i remember winning them in a drawing competition, HAHA!
ya, i donated them to my cousins (:
and my MD player!!
i remember when i bought it, the salesman told me it was a good investment
cos i can use it for very long, and can use it to record lectures in JC
HAH!
mp3 player came out not long after and no one ever heard of MD players again.
i still have lots of unused MD tapes lying around :/
my brother found this in his drawer when he was looking for his citibank card.
it's the first phone that i owneeeed!
haha. it's a motorola clamshell phone from my uncle
no colour, small screen, no scroll that kind, had it when i was in sec one :D
amazing.
after this, i got a nokia 8250 and i thought it was coolest phone around
because it had blue light while others had yellow light still xD
and it was nokia all the way after that :D
admist the holidays, fyp was like all over the place
i can't even remember everything else in order
ya, fyp fyp fyp.
i had mega mcspicy and can B steamboat though
like the little perks in life (:
look at that, like average three comps per person to run merton :X

Dec 13 to celebrate the brother's 23rd birthday
we had windsor cafe porridge steamboat for dinner.
nice porridge and fried noodles.
i actually dislike porridge de, but it was good (:
and then it was a hectic week of repairing da-da
who was down with a stupid trojan
the expert succeeded in clearing my lappie of virus and trojans!
woohoo.
i love looking at those programs run
it makes me feel like my lappie is super clean now :D
and btw jasmine calls my lappie 大大
which reminds me that i must provide a chinese pronounciation for it
and so i announce, lappie's chinese name is 搭搭 (da1 da1)
hahah. ya not 大大 (:
Dec 20 was meeting FS for our annual Xmas outing (:
we had a list of activities planned but none was carried out
we sort of roamed orchard road and tcc-ed while we wait for lynn
a day filled with gossip girls talk and little nonya which i... bleah.
travelled back to amkhub and arcaded a little
everyone fell in love with the drums game
and then it was back to aj's house for steamboat!
lalala, kiaying loves steamboat :D
funniest thing of the day was the 2kg of prawns from ling's mum (:
after dinner, we had wine and champagne.
or rather, they had.
i only drank a total of 3 sips (:
and then it was indian poker time!
we loveeeeeee this game.
since i can remember, we have always been playing this game, haha.
i am honest one lorh, i never bluff :D
a glimpse of our beloved primary school from aj's house (:
we actually wanted to go in one but hehs.
we love DA QIAO!
and it was out to marina square again!
played pool and drums again until the arcade closed at 230am.
we drove back to amk macs to wait for mac breakfast.
and while waiting for the breakfast, we boycotted aj
i forgot why. and so we refused to join tables with him xD
mac big breakfast and home we went for some sleep.
Dec 21 is dong zhi for the year 2008.
every year i say the same thing but every year i want to say it
time passes so fast!
i get this feeling everytime it's dong zhi.
i only ate a little tang yuan this year
OH. i still have a packet in the fridge, keep forgetting.
Dec 22nd was a zhou zhuang high tea buffet with wrb minus hf.
we wanted to have peranakan buffet but it's fully booked!
i can't believe the craze that's going on now.
i don't even like yueniang's character in the first place.
seriously, the script writers of mediacorp needs to be fired
they can't even craft a lead role properly
that it fails to convince me why she is worthy of a story made of her.
she just so happens to be surrounded by (rich) men who loves her
and comes to her rescue every single time
where is the heroine character that i am supposed to see!!
oops, sorry i just need to get that out :p
anyways, we had 5 longs of har gao and siew mai per person.
super FULL!
my front view is the same width as my side view already.
but i am sort of missing the siew mai now, hee.
24th was meeting the FS again!
this time with me, lynn, aj and jia only
cos ling is enjoying herself in aussie and clara is working.
a xmas feast with turkey, ham, salad and potato by chef lynn!
i love her, but sweety her dog scares me.
i was constantly in a state of anxiety the whole night i was there :D
jia joined us for a mahjong session because i don't want to watch movie :p
i am convinced that i have bad luck in mj.
sorry for my constant naggings about people dio-ing the game
i need to say something to keep awake, haha.
prata for breakfast after a round of mj, finally no more mac breakfast
even though mac was just across the streets xD
oh and how can i forget that i was caught in the rain with no shelter
and a kind uncle offered to fetch me and aj to lynn's house.
i am so grateful to him at that moment.

xmas day dinner with my sis at hougang mall HANS
it turned out to be their last day of operation.
i am so saddd.
haha. it's not like they are closing down completely but i frequent that outlet mahs
and i saw their boss Mr Han!
hahaha. and a friendly uncle who came by to say goodbye to the staff.
the annual BBS outing!
we had bee bee que!!
i love barbeque food, hoho.
the plan was to fly kite/cycle/blade at pasir ris park in the afternoon
but after walking around (and around), we did nothing for the day
and went back to the bbq pit, awaiting the food xD
xinwei and xiang-sao attempted to fly a kite
but there was no wind.
when it finally went up, it keeps getting stuck in the tree :D
hj was the heroine who started the fire for the bbq (:
our food for the night!
sambal sotong was YUM~!
and sparklers with the word BBS :D
theme for the night was APRONS!
as proudly suggested by mr neo! haha.
everyone so sporting that my home econs apron paled in comparison
haha.
orh hor jasmine er, you have to wear apron on the next outing
because you are absent! hahahaha!
when jasmine and xiao qiang arrives, its time for a BBS shot (:
we had gift exchange and i got -what do you call that- key thingy from alvin.
thanks, i love it lots so lilin, you can't get it back. hahah.
just kidding, there's so many how to use all, can give you one!
and i hope xw likes the present i got in a haste, sorrrrry :p

there is the cooking craze in our house lately.
started off with the potato salad by my brother
who mastered it during his work and travel trip
then my sis tried her tiramisu recipe, it turned out surprisingly good.
even though it does not look like tiramisu at all.
and her shephard's pie made me slightly potato-phobic now.
thus inspired me to try out my ma la xiang guo
but i am still lacking some ingredients.
bedtime stories with roomie and caihong on Dec 30 (:
downtown east surprises me with fish n co express!
all the good shopping malls are concentrated on the edges of the island
i love the calamari and i want to try the sambal burger too~!

lalala. i miss 103 and fu li cheng.
and then it was 31st and i keep thinking about this time one year ago.
when i was packing my luggage, having dinner with my family
and actually dreading the china trip.
i can't believe time flies so fast
and here i am talking about china memories already.
2008 was great and 2009 here i come (:
